Marshland Actions Speak Louder, CL1-F, CL2-F
Introductions went pretty much as expected. Will (my Whippet) and Ashley (my lab mix) were enthusiastic, Toby (my Greyhound) interested. Brenden and Chance (my Shelties) were not thrilled. Chance took exception more than Brenden, showing his hackles to this little ball of fluff that dared to show up in his front yard. Brenden simply ignored him. Several days later the Shelties have accepted his presence, Will wants desperately to play with him, Ashley is official baby sitter and Toby is forever tolerant. So the storey begins.
Update - 2009: In the brief time Jess has been with us, we've lost 3 dogs. This has been very hard on the little guy if only because I concentrated so hard on keeping the old ones going that I didn't give him the attention and training he deserved. However in spite of my lack of instruction, at the age of 25 months Jess has managed to earn two agility titles and have LOADS of fun while doing so. Maybe a bit too much fun. ;-)
